Getting to Dunsmuir

We are located in far northern California, immediately off Interstate 5 (which is fully maintained year-round). We even have a small airport that fisherman, hunters, photographers and pleasure seekers use as their gateway to Dunsmuir and the adventure Siskiyou County has to offer. We are located 47 miles north of Redding, seven miles south of Mt. Shasta and 17 miles south of Weed.

Amtrak

Greyhound Bus

The bus stops in Weed, California, which is about 15 miles north of Dunsmuir. Once in Weed, you can get on our local bus line (STAGE) to travel south to Dunsmuir. To contact Greyhound call 1-800-231-2222 or visit greyhound.com.

Mott Airport

Mott Airport is approximately one mile north of the Dunsmuir city limits and can accommodate small planes. It has a 2,900-foot runway, tie downs and hangars. This airport is un-manned and you should call Dunsmuir City Hall at 530-235-4822 for more information.
